I agree... the only 'features' I see in VB that are not in C# are language items that are wrappers around framework functionality. For example, all the string functions are now build into the string type.
Also, I don't know what he ment by VB.Net is an 'IDE'. I though Visual Studio was the IDE, and VB.Net was a language/syntax which has a compiler to bring it to IL.

If this MS' direction then it's shooting itself in the foot - if new functionality is introduced it should likely be implemented in the framework so that all languages can benefit from it. By putting stuff like that into one of hte languages, cross language benefits go out the window in a hurry.
