I don't really care about any of it ... that copyright thing was a trick just to see if he was reading as I knew he wouldn't be able to resist that one ... if you notice everything in that little blurb basically is covered by what he does anyway (by his own admission of giving credit where credit is due) ... I simply wanted to see if he was around as I had posted several obvious bugs here and never got a response in weeks ... I've sent several emails as well, the only reply being an email promising to reply.

It pulled him out alight. What did I learn? That he's more interested in defending a copyright than acknowledging that I found a problem in his framework and then fixing it ... that's all I needed to know.

That's all ... no lawyer needed ... I don't care what he uses or where he uses it ... I don't even care if he gives me credit for finding it ... the only thing I care about is getting timely fixes in my inbox for the bugs that I find ... and no ... I'm not accustomed to paying another upgrade price to have bugs fixed ... I pay upgrade prices for new features. I won’t buy him a movie ticket to get them fixed, I won’t genuflect when he enters a room either … just fix busted code … that’s all.

It's already quite apparent that I'm going to have to support this thing myself as Oakleaf's turnaround time is not timely enough. Oh well, I'm just glad to have the experience that makes that sort of thing easy.

Later ... and thanks for your well thought out response.
