On a string concatenation like this

OleDbConnection("Provider=VFPOLEDB.1;"+
@"Data Source=G:\desenvol\Projetos\UniversalThread\VFP Training\VFP\Data\tastrade.dbc;"+
"Password=;Collating Sequence=MACHINE");

what´s the purpose of "@"? I see that without it, the stuff didn´t work...
