I realize you didn't ask me, but thats never stopped anyone here before :-)

There's no one answer cause it really depends on what they're doing now with VFP and what they want out of their development platform.
If by "move" you mean actually covert existing, working Fox solutions to .NET, I think thats kindof silly unless you got a very good reason. If you mean learn .NET to leverage the power of things like ASP.NET, .NET Remoting, and the Mobile toolkit, naturally, yes, thats not a bad idea.
