Hi,

I just looked at window task manager and found that services.exe has been using 80%+ of the accumulated CPU time. Could this be a sign of virus infection? What else could it be? Machine is win2k, has SQL server MSDE running, Norton anti virus, Zone alarm, and IE. It is also connected to internet.

After stopping MSDE, services.exe continues to consume 90%+ of CPU time.
