>Maybe so, but I don't see what the point is for a non .NET product to push .NET as you are at the moment. While I would advise any VFP developer to take a close look at .NET I don't see why the VFP team should waste any of its limted resources on pushing another platform and worse yet migration to it. .....

Rick,

I must agree 100% with you. While I rarely post something here, I´m allways following whats happening - and as one of the VFP Brazil Users Group founders and owner of www.foxbrasil.com.br I feel like stimulated to state that that was the best answer in this thread!

There was one special, may be a little subtle interpretation in a previous Ken Levy´s posting that made me realy scared:
- Msg ID: 652590
".... What I am advocating is for those VFP developers using .NET to chose VB .NET over C# as their primary .NET language for their own best interests long term."

We never know whats going on inside big companies future plans ... what to say about MS !!! Just read "advocating" as "advising" ... and the worse part is ".. for their own best interests LONG TERM."
Of course he can minimize this with that "VFP developers using .NET", but...

I hope I´m wrong, but I can see something like a "VFB" (yes, it´s a "B" at the end) ... Visual FoxBasic programming language on the way ?!?!?

Thank you, and congratulations,

Eduardo Vidigal
