>Why FreeBSD instead of Linux if I might ask? I'm just tickled pink with the performance of Linux on my second server right now, I'm curious what advantage BSD might have over besides the copyright issues (I don't plan on selling it so I don't care about copy right, left, or otherwise).

FreeBSD out of the box has a more mature networking kernel. Some of the unstability present in versions of the Linux 2.4.x kernel left me nervous about using it for an enterprise firewall and proxy. Linux rocks the desktop for me, but I had to go with the more mature UNIX for this task. Internally I will deploy more Linux servers as I can retire the NT farm. If only MySQL handled complex finacial transactions as good as Foxy.
