As long as you've got a PK, and have set the proper DBSETPROP()'s I don't see why not. In fact VFP don't cares about how you've got the resultset. For example you can set "update" off, fill the cursor with any xbase command like append, do a TABLEUPDATE(), set "update" on, and you can send changes to any table as long as you've got the right DBSETPROP()'s set.
