What about calling VFP mtdlls from ASP.NET? To me, this is the best way to combine the 2 technologies for web apps. Personally, I've always hated using VFP with ODBC or OLE DB since you're not taking full advantage of the VFP language and integration with data. Web Services are a little better, but, I've found that VFP mtdlls called from ASP or ASP.NET allow you to create the most robust web apps...
>I know of real VFP developers getting paid real money to build and deploy real ASP.NET web based components to applications that integrate with both VFP apps and SQLServer databases. ASP.NET works great with VFP applications both via XML Web services to/from VFP as well as using the VFP OLE DB provider to access and update data remotely over HTTP built by WYSIWYG web pages. I expect the demand and opportunity for ASP.NET development for VFP developers will significantly increase before the end of this year.

http://www.asp.net has lots of great ASP.NET information and resources, and a nice list of growing companies deploying ASP.NET based applications are listed at
http://www.asp.net/Default.aspx?tabindex=5&tabid=41. Any ASP.NET server form can access VFP via COM, XML Web services, or VFP data via the VFP OLE DB provider. And of course VFP can call any ASP.NET XML Web service. More information on this can be found in the whitepaper link and samples at
http://gotdotnet.com/team/vfp as all use and depend on VFP in the solution.
