I was following a usenet thread on using the VFPOLEDB driver, and it seems that it does not return enough schema information to ADO.NET for the OleDbCommandBuilder to generate updating logic (according to David Sceppa at Microsoft). This sounds pretty serious, is there a bugfix in the works or a comment from other MS guys?
