>>>>>>>Has anyone looked at the article in this month's advisor entitled 'Data Classes that make Client-Server Easier. I'd really like to hear others opinions of the concepts presented there by Andy Kramek. Also, the souce code has been placed on Compuserve. Would someone be kind enough to send me a copy. I used to be on CS but am no longer a member. The code is in the VFP forum (naturally).

>>>Hey guys, I just responded to Roxanne Seibert. Seems like this article contains some really good ideas. What do you say we look it over and get back here for a good discussion of its contents.

>>Sounds Great... how about we make this a Friday Conference topic? I'll be in NYC this Friday, maybe Dec 19th?

>Hmm sure, I'm pretty new here so not sure what the process is but I'd love to chat about this stuff. I believe the ideas are first rate. BTW, I've only just started to look at the code you sent me but thanks again!

Hi folks,
I like the idea of a conference on the article, but being a relative newbie on the UT, I'm not sure how to access a conference. I went into the conference area when the message said one should be live, but no one was there.
As to the code, I've only seen the demo and associated source code. I can can speculate about the implementation of the 'TestVFP' connection class (basically a NOP), but would enjoy discussing the article, and/or seeing the source code for the abstract data classes.
Ned

Reality is.
