Names after options /p and /d are not the file names; they are script names, which is unaccessible outside PDW; If you want different options for some deployments, you can create separate scripts and run them in one or other situation (for example, two different install directories).
About log: for all i know, there are no return codes; rather than, all information about operation (success/errors) is stored in log file, which is plain text file; you can read this file and determine errors during the process. If this file does not exist, wizard creates them.
