Steve, not sure I understand what you are saying. Perhaps you would be well served by reading the comments of the highly respected and indepedent thinking Steven Black rather than joining the bandwagon of a version 1 product.
As for my situation, yes I am gainfully employed - thank you. Just last night I was working on a bid for an outside contract. That client is extremely frugal and wants his work done as economically as possible. VFP works perfect for what he wants/needs.
