How to make detail print right to the bottom of the page

I'm sorry .. but I'm not aware of any bugs with how it calculates the height. As far as I know, it looks at the defined height of the detail band and combines that with the height of the footer band to see if there is enough room to print. If not, it starts the detail band on the next page.

Check to see if you have any objects sitting in the wrong bands .. IOW .. is an object just barely into the gray band area of the detail or page footer band? Also .. try doing a CTRL+A to select all objects and see if any show up that you didn't realize where there. Maybe there's a line or rectangle or something that you can't quite see right now because of a font color or pen type.
