You have given me helpful advice many times on UT. Thanks! I wanted to run this by you to see if you know anyone, particulariy in the Atlanta or South Atlanta area, who may be a good fit. Our company (Wayne Reaves Computer Systems) is looking for an experienced mature programmer who has been programming for at least 10 years. The majority of the work will be in VFP 7 but this person does not need to know VFP. We will be willing to train the right person. Of course, someone who could hit the ground running would be very nice. The salary will be in the range of 40-60 K and this is a permanent job. We are located on the north side of Macon and we would need someone within a reasonable commuting distance.

Our business is mainly with used car dealers - our main product is a management system. We also have programs for title pawn, check cashing, and car repair. Several of these are still in FoxPro 2.5 DOS and need to be rewritten. The company has been in business for the last 15 years or so and has over 1500 active customers. We anticipate growing quite rapidly in the next few months as we move into the Midwest with our main product.
