One of our users was running one of our executables (VFP7 on WinXP) and had a form up on the screen. She said that her computer seemed frozen while saving an Excel file, and she pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL to get the Task Manager “to see what is happening”. Of course she didn’t see much, and says she just exited the Task Manager. After that all seemed to be back to normal.
The problem is that when I tried to open the VFP form in the form designer I could not, because the SCX was in use by her.
The form is included in the project file, and I can’t see how running an exe could end up in an included form being in use.
Can anybody explain how can that be?
