Hi, Mike.... sorry, I wasn't entirely clear. The pictures are currently archived on a videodisk. One still picture per frame on the disk. It is in fact a video, you can play it as such, and you end up fast forwarding through all of the pictures.

The easiest scenario that we're thinking of is to:

1. Digitize the video to a hard disk using a standard computer video format like avi, mg, QuickTime, etc.

2. Create a VFP flat file which contains the frame number of each picture

3. Have a button on the screen that goes to the appropriate frame and displays the picture.

It is #3 that I'm wondering how best to implement. This would allow us to keep the file as a video file. Alternatively, I suppose we could make each frame into an individual jpg file, which I've seen before with some video capture cards.
