Hi Tom,
The modem is installed in a workstation (486dx266 8mb) on
the WFWG network. The Co-session Host software is always
loaded first (on boot). There is no dedicated server (just
peer to peer). My Foxpro app is installed on each
workstation instead of running it over the network. The
data files are all on one machine with a 1.6g HD.
I would like to increase the ram on the modem machine but
there are ram config problems... I have to replace all the
darned simms if you know what I mean. I have a feeling
this might do the trick when I can talk my client into
spending the money
In the last couple of days I have tried reducing data buffer
size (with sys(3050)) with no real change. I have also tried
using "lockscreen" to reduce screen painting, with a slight
increase in performance.
Thanks again.
