Thanks for helping me. I solved all 3 grid problems with a couple of changes to the grid and the code that precedes the grid.

I built a cursor to hold the grid data. I put the Grid RecordSource as myCursor. I went into the ControlSource for each column and each control in each column and set it to the myCursor.Fieldname.

Those few changes solved all of the bad grid behavior. This is only my second experience using a grid so I am still on a grid learning curve. The weird thing is that I copy and pasted the grid from another app that I wrote where the grid worked perfectly, but in this app it did not. Now it does.

I am surprised my other grid works so well without a RecordSource, just a RecordSourceType Alias-1. Time to move on. Thanks again!
