set printer to name "Acrobat PDFWriter"
set safety off  && you may or may not want this
report form myReport to file "pdfTest." noconsole  && play with it and you will see
                                         && why I put the period there
In the registry, there is an entry called 'bExecViewer'. It toggles whether or not the Acrobat reader displays the PDF file after it is created (the same thing as the "Preview" checkbox in the Acrobat Writer dialog). I think you would set that registry entry (programmatically, of course) before the SET PRINTER TO command.
