I used to have an arrangement with Chapters that everytime Whil brought out a new book, I would go to their Web Site and ask them to get it (if they didn't have it already) and often times they would add the book to their Web Site. The result was that we could get Whil's books in Canada about 30% off Whil's prices because of certain efficiencies they had with getting stuff over the border. Whil even added a reference to his Web Site about Chapters in Canada.

Unfortunately Chapters went broke and got bought out by Indigo.com (Heather Reisman) and I don't think she is as easy to deal with for adding new books to their title list.

Whil has arrangements with Book Stores in most countries but he does not have such arrangements in Canada so there is nothing automatic about getting his titles onto the Web Sites up here.

Anyway, you might try Indigo.com and see what they have. This gives you the convenience of ordering over the web but you can avoid shipping charges by picking up the book at the store closest to you.
