Hi!
You can solve it by several ways.
1. One is put transparent container or shape over each object when it is disabled, so tool tip will be shown from that transparent cover shape.
2. Another approach - colour boxes by colours similar to disabling, but instead of making control disabled, put "return .F." in the when method of the control in the "IF" statement checking if control should be disabled.
3. Use the Fancy Tool Tip control (you can find it in downlaods here).
