Marcia's answer in the message pointed out by Sergey IS the answer, however, I would like to suggest one "enhancement". Instead of using one of the Winddings fonts, familiarize yourself with the Marlett font. You can create the same checkbox (marked or unmarked) using the same techniques as Marcia describes. However, the (minor) advantage you gain is the fact that the Marlett font is a system font and is more likely to be on any user's machine. A tip in using the font (at this point in time) is to go to Word, print out the LOWER CASE letters and numbers (1-0), and then change the font to the Marlett font to see what characters are available. Good luck.
