We have the same service here in Brazil, so it might work just as the same as yours. You send an e-mail to @.xxx(in my case 5199778139@aviso.net.br), the cell phone company will receive the e-mail and generate a SMS to the user cell phone. Sometimes it can take a little long for the user receive the e-mail.
