I think there is a larger issue:
Is Visual FoxPro going to be a legacy application development environment... or will it attract new developers?
For better or worse, an autoincrement field is just one of those basic things that is included in any other database development environment.
Many of the brilliant programming practices that we take for granted were developed in order to solve generic problems that weren't addressed by xBase/FoxPro/VFP.
Are experienced developers still using Foundation READS?
