Maybe I should have been more explicit. My alternative is flexible (I built
it to fit my requirements) and reliable. I do not know what the new
AutoIncrement feature will do but there are potential flexibility and
reliability issues. I am not going to waste my time - and my clients money - testing it and resolving the issues arising from its usage because it does not add value to the systems and products I have/am/will develop for my
clients.
