I'm loking for information on using the MSCOMM32 control faster than about 2400 baud. Is there a version or update newer than the version shipped with VFP3.0?

I seem to get an inordinated number of parity errors showing in the data stream ("?") and wonder if need some setting to make it responds to comm port faster. No Comm events are being generated and that also suprised me.

Any ideas or even a pointer to 3rd party OCX. Last resort is to rewrite usng Silverware but if it works as well as it did under 2.6 I will use it.
