>I have written a VFP program which uses ole automation using Office 2000. I want to port this application to another machine which has Office XP installed instead of Office 2000. Because I do not own XP and the other machine is 1200 miles away, I am wondering if the Word and Excel objects will be created and the program run as expected or will I have to change the code for Office XP. I am making calls to both Excel and Word.

Gaylen,
AFAIK, the automation of the XP object is the same as that of 2000. Some constants may have been added for additional functionality. To be sure, you can check out the XP VBA reference on-line here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/vbawd10/html/wotocObjectModelApplication.asp to see if anything changed.
