Still not an issue to me.

These types of process are typically run off-hours and during low usage hours. The dozen or so *batch* processes I have in place already fir well
within the timeframe allocated to them and would continue to do so even if
the number of transactions increased tenfold - and we would very likely to migrate to a real RDBMS back-end if it ever happened.
