I recently modified a view to inlcude an additional table, making a total of three, the SQL part works fine, however! when I add a new record, TableUpdatereturns false and the error message "Cannot insert an empty row from a view into its base table(s)." is raised, the view is defined in code and all properties seem to be set ok ( I got my base code using Gendbc before adding the new table ). The even stranger behaviour is, the underlying table is updated, anyone know what's going down here?, I know it's the new table causing the problem as the error goes away if I remove it, any help much appreciated
