>Features like OO menus and OO reports are also frequent requested features, but with me I think there are many people who feel that there are more important features that need to be adressed.

Umm... isn't that a bit contradictary?

If many people feel there are more important features to add to VFP then wouldn't, by definition, those features be the most requested? I will have to assume by 'many' people you mean a handfull that you know, rather than the 'majority' that makes a feature get on the most requested list.

While I am not denying that a single feature request by one individual would have a huge impact, I think you are saying that 'the masses are asses' cause what 'most' people want isn't really what is good for them.

You also have to look at SALES. Since the goal of VFP is to SELL VFP, doesn't it make sense to give most of the current customers, who will be most of the upgrade customer most of what they want? Isn't that why Intellisense got added to the product, rather than say something that would have made for a better dev environment like perhaps a collection class or support for structs, free threading COM servers, fixing the view designer or perhaps Views that support OLE-DB?
