Think of ISQL (Ineractive SQL) as SQL's version of vfp's command window. It is used to interactivly run Select statements. Most DBMS'have one. MS SqlServer as on called ISQL as well. In SqlAnywhere's case, they have some command line options that allows you to automaticly login and launch a sql script.
