From the Windows compliant side, I try to be standard as much as I can too. But even MS was not always compliant with its own standards. Of course, when that append they said its a new standard...but thats another story.
You know, I have developed the IsMouseOut class to allow the desing of hover buttons in VFP for compliance with Outlook and IE :-)
BTW, I have tried your tooltip fll and it work like a charm!
