>Exactly what are you looking for? Congratulations? Acceptance? Thanks? Attention? It's obvious to anyone with even the slightest Mere Mortals clue that that your suggestions are valid. Why not assume that Kevin is extremely busy,

doesnt Kevin have employees who support the product???????
Does "Mere Mortals" consist of Kevin Mcneish, chicken wire and spit?

i've worked with three frameworks :

1) Codemine
2) Maxframe
3) Mere Mortals

Mere Mortals seemed to be the only one supported by one guy.

When I put in a support request for Codemine I receieve immediate response from one of three guys including the author David Lehr.
All three guys "knew their stuff ".

Maxframe 'by' VDS/Drew Speedie is supported by many people. If I have a question about the framework (I had zero problems with the small project I built) I just call up Mike Yearwood. But Maxframe is supported by an entire company... it aint just held together by Drew Speedie .. chicken wire and spit...

I am reasonably satisfied with both Maxframe and Codemine.

Right in the Codemine web site is a statement about people leaving "codebook based" frameworks for Codemine. The fact that Kevin never made any kind of counter claim about this statement speaks volumes.

I was dissatisfied with the level of service from Mere Mortals and I sensed that Kevin was the only one supporting the product. After the company I worked for purchased Mere Mortals I recommended that we never use Mere Mortals in a production application.

I suggest moving to Codemine or Maxframe and stop fixing Mere Mortals bugs.

>>make the changes in an appropriate place in your project and move on with your life.

when you are 'promised the moon' by a framework vendor and you find simple bugs in the code of the shipped product you should not have to spend your time fixing them.

According to the Mere Mortals mission statement the company is built on solid integrity and brutal honesty....

and the above statements are as brutally honest as I can be.
