>>>If you do it this way, then empty date records may be included in recordset?
>>
>>Hi Igor,
>>
>>I guess, I misunderstood the basics. I have a table, which has unique MapRef+LstSlDate combination. LstSlDate could be empty. I need to select records with maximum LstSlDate for each unique MapRef. I could not achieve the desired result, because empty dates are not included into the final result. I don't understand, why.
>>
>>If you want to replicate my problem, create a table, put three fields there MapRef C, LstSlDate D, SomeField C. Populate this table, so you would have unique combination of MapRef + LstSlDate. Make couple of records to have empty date. Now, please, select records with maximum date (full detail).
>>
>>Thanks in advance.

I've recieved it, but I'm using Access 97 and I could not open this MDB.

Send it to my home address, please, I'll take a look in the evening...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
