It is not a requirement, but it sure would be nice (and I've got to think that many others would like this feature also!). I have done searches on the UT, NGs, MSKB, books, etc. and I can't find that anyone has done this (or at least not given out the info on how to do it).

Yes, let's hope that is is a new feature of Toledo! So, don't bother until we know that it won't be included.

Thanks for your interest,
Mike C.

However, there are some flaws in the logic of my algorithm (I experimented just to see if it is possible at all), that cause it works unstable - sometimes scrolling is "locked" - grid scrolls when mouse button is not pressed. There is also extremely hard to calculate the exact rectangle of the area of the scroll bar thumb to filter out other kinds of scrolling. This part also is not done yet, and I'm not sure it could be done by reliable way (but who knows...) All this prevents from using the approach i currently have - it is just not usable yet for end-user applications. For what is worth, it is not tested well for different circumstanses , OS versions and VFP versions. Just another thing I reached during experimenting, and nothing more.

In addition, I do not know if this option will be introduced in next version of VFP. If yes, for what spend time and do experimenting writing tnnes of workaround codes, when it will be already done in next version in C++ code for grid?
