I would rather speculate your way than be so completely negative about VFP's future.
How about this: The reason why VFP is not in .NET is because Microsoft needed a REAL application development environment that has shipped hundreds of thousands applications that businesses ACTUALLY USE. They actually won't support any of those for much longer other than VFP. :)
