Is incredible (i think) that exist a litte hope because vfp add autoincrement fields... Why you think that? Paradox have this, Acces have this...and so? Maybe Acces have a good position because is part of the MS Office suite and is a self contained database, but if you know this database is deprecated and MS try to position sql dataengine.... but maybe not dissapear in the near future...

Really, is incredible the resignation of the VFP users... The community wait 5 YEARS for have syntax highlithing & Intellisense... C DOS have the first, and the second is present in tools like delphi from the version 3...

For databse, have a autoincrement field is not a option... is a requeriment... so if this is true, this is include here for the same reason that is include the color syntax, intellisense (really not very good implementation), assign bitmaps to menus and this things.....beacuse this are requeriments for a database development tool 5-3 YEARS AGO!

And really, if you use Delphi, Java or .NET you see that VFP main new features are in the past. You see the next things for toledo? A joke, i hpe.. with this "encahncements" my boss really want move to other tool fast. Maybe we cry for that, but bussines is bussines.
