How are you "load(ing) the data"? If you're using a view, just requery().

The first time that I load the data, the grid remains the same [ie size of columns and header captions]. The second time I load data in the same session, the grid takes on the size of the cursor fields (C(50)) and the header captions become that of the cursor (recordsource property of the grid) that is being used. The cursor name is different every time loading the data.
