Besiade, who says that discrimination is axiomatically 'bad' anyway? I surely discriminate between good and bad restaurants. IOW I exercise discriminating judgement, based upon their quality.
I tend to read Ed Rauh's and George Tasker's posts first for the simple reason that as a discriminating reader of the UT I know the fundamental level of quality in their missives will be higher then most others. So, yes! I discriminate. <s>
