Theorhetically, there are always alternatives. So in theory, opp cost can never be zero. However, we are not in an academic setting here, so theory to some extent, goes out the window. The fact is, there is always time available to set aside for learning purposes. As far as .NET is concerned, there are little opportunities being lost right now. Therefore, when things ramp up significantly, folks that take the time to learn now will be ready to reap the rewards later.

Steve, I contend you are hell bent on holding people back. I have watched you go off on this for a while. I simply cannot sit by and let you say these things without a response.

Just about everything is hearsay Steve. Just about everything is a statement made for proving the truth of the matter asserted. Still, I do agree that practical experience is an important factor to consider.
