Chris;

A few things I remember as I was growing up. The day before I was 13 I thought the remarks by adults were disgusting as to what they were saying about “teenagers”. As a teenager I remember having tremendous energy and enjoyed many things – especially the potential I felt was mine.

As a teenager I did not think about life and death and joined the military at age 17. The military takes advantage of the fact that its nations youth does not consider life or death as options.

An aside: At age 20 I had no idea what category I was in. I was not a teenager nor was I legally an adult until 21 years old. So look at 20 as your “twilight zone”! :)

Whatever age you may be you should be yourself. Do not worry what others may say or think about you. Put your energy into advancing yourself.

Our son is 24 and our daughter is 21 and both are in college.

Tom

>Firstly we now know your 'wildly accurate' guess was completly wrong, and secondly, this isnt exactly the kind of place a teenager would come to give people a bashing on some forums.

>Being a teenager myself (albeit for only a few more months), I dare say I know a bit of what my 'peers' are thinking, they certainly arnt interested in stirring a bunch of FoxPro programmers, give them a Linux v Windows forum, or an XBox v PS2 v Nintendo forum. Then they will go argue/flame to their hearts content. They simply wouldnt be interested in the sorts of responses gathered here.

>To make the assumption that anyone who is doing things in an immature way is a teenager is in my opinion a wildly inaccurate guess. And a prejudice I find quite off-putting, a few years ago I could not walk into a store without the security guards trailing an isle back, as I have aged a little this stops, but as a law-abiding teenager it really starts to get on your nerves,
>It is not like teenagers are the sole source of crime in the world, how about giving us a break?
