Actually, the trouble with the current edition of the debugger is that whatever is .null. appears as nothing in the debugger (value is simply blank). IMO, it should say NULL there.
OK, I just tried
x=CREATEOBJECT("form")
x.AddProperty("thisisnull",null)
and it does show .null. for x.thisisnull, but I've seen it in cases where there's a thisisnull_access method, and that's where you see nothing if the method returns a null or wasn't called at all. That's pretty close to how it should behave with COM as well.
