Lynda,
I have given up on check boxes in grids because of problems such as this. We now use a 1 byte Char. field containing Y for yes and - for no. When the user clicks on the field, hits enter or space bar or hits Y or N we toggle the value with a udf in the valid that reads the keypress. It was very easy to implement, looks great and the users love it. We use "-" in place of "N" because it stands out a lot more in the column.
Just a suggestion,
John.
>Is it possible to dynamically change the caption of a checkbox in a grid column to display "Yes" or "No" according to the datasource for the checkbox? When first asked by the client I gave the standard "Sure" but now I'm *not* so sure.
