John,

>I contend that the UT, which is the focal point of the Fox community, numbers only a few hundred active participants. All the while, there is talk of the Fox community. I don't think it is as big as some would claim it to be. Seems to me that the most die heard people would be sure to take the survey. That number amounted to 315, not that it really matters...

Only if you define it as the "few hundred" here. I don't see anyone but you attempting to change an honest definition of "the FoxPro Community" from "those who own and use" FoxPro into the "active participants" here.

You're playing an old arguing parlor trick by presuming that your definitions are the correct ones. The funny part is that you seem to believe them.

I dare say that every individual who owns and uses this product should be considered a part of the community not just your artificial definition of what constitutes the FoxPro Community. What about all the other venues, including the Spanish or Portugese speaking ones or don't they count either? Are you sure you really want to stand in front of judges who will be able to see right through this kind of pseudo-logic???

Or (for example) , do only the people who drive bright red cars qualify as members of the community you live in? Well, of you define it that way I guess it does..

Sheesh.. <g>

>Word of advice John, and I say this out of deference to people you work with, you may want to think twice about taking me on or joining this discussion. Just do me the favor of not crying foul and asking others what they are going to do about me....

LOL...

*yawn*

Hey.. Real-life tough guy talk... <g>

Best,
