A citizen is the person who pay the taxes, not only the ones who made some public apearance to the town hall.

Maybe in your country, citizenship is predicated on paying taxes. Here in the USA, it is not...

I think any user of fox (all versions) can be counted as member of the fox community because he pay his taxes like active members on forums or member of user group or subscriber of mailing list.

I disagree, but you are entitled to your opinion.. I think citizenship is more about participating in the process, even if that means your participation is civil disobedience.

>Anyway, do you think you are a member of the fox community?
You have left the forum for some time, at this time the community was one member lower than today?

That is a damn good question. Yes, I think I am, and others may think I am not. I think I am one of the few in this community who is not afraid to express his opinion and to fly in the face of public opinion. There are those who would love to excise me from the community, but they are powerless to do so. There are those in the past who thought they made up the rules who tried to excercise their will on others regarding me - only to be rebuffed.

FWIW, I do care about the ordeal of the average guy who finds it harder and harder to find Fox work. There is a real story to be told and it too deserves a voice. And sometimes, I have to speak a little louder than I would like in order to be heard. Gladly, the words coming from MS are from the standpoint of brutal honesty and less from the standpoint of unreal optimism.

When I see folks getting attacked unfairly, I step in, although this time, it was under an assumed name. If I set the record straight and folks want to pile on a bit, that is fine. When they go too far, then the dogs of war will be unleashed. And for sure, I will not stand for personal/professional threats of any kind. There is no place for that.
