Cetin,
I agree about not wanting to see the debate stuff all the time. I usually read a couple of messages and then start laughing about the rotten discussions that get started and just go back to working on creating some really cool stuff with VFP!
The point is there just isn't a point to having them. Most of us are really passionate about what we do and so arguments like this just get people heated and I think JVP likes developing his skills for his future legal work. But if I ever saw something really cool that someone was doing with another language then I would take a look at it. However, I have done everything I have ever wanted to do and then some in some form or fashion with VFP with a little help from Delphi for advanced graphically intensive controls and a little C++ for the fast low-level stuff to more than satisfy most customers. OK! So I had to use a SQL backend for a 120GB+ database to store the stuff in. But the front end still was accessible by VFP! Which worked much better than Access!
So let's stop the bickering and get to coding something productive like maybe building a new Report Writer/Engine or something! :-)
