Thanks, Art - what do you do for backups to cover the NT and the Linux data?

A week seems like a lot of time to invest - but since we can pretty much give everyone in this office access to almost everything, I probably wouldn't have to spend much time at all for this one...

Regarding licensing, don't you already have licenses covered on the existing NT server?

It took me about a week to tune the thing, even though the install was able to parse the existing network and ascertain most of the configuration. Getting SAMBA set up actually took no time at all either, what took the week or so was when I played with it to change the sharing from public to certain users only, and authenticating those users against the NT PDC.
