Hey Terry,
I dunno about the VB specific stuff, cause I haven't been looking at that too much. Hopefully someone else will jump in for those.
>In .NET I see incorrect phrases all the time like: The framework has more than 2,000 base classes, when in truth it has one base class (object) as a single rooted hierarchy of classes. Every other class is a sub class of object, and so in that context I'm trying to understand what this one special namespace, Microsoft.VisualBasic is.
Though I see what you mean, the .NET "base classes" are considered anything in the .NET Framework. Keep in mind, VFP is special when it comes to the frameworks that exist for our product, thus, we tend to name thigns differently.
>How is your study going? Found any good resources? The list servers seem to be my best source so far although I'm enjoying many of the books. About 20 purchased so far. <s>
Its going all right, but I'm taking my time. As far as books, I'm liking Professional C# by Wrox, but I've only read half of it (its bigger than the Hacker's Guide; 1300 pages I think).
