Mapping a network share w/ different user account

Situation:
A computer running Win95/98/Me is logged on to Domain A.

Problem:
I need this computer to map a drive to a share on Domain B(No Relation to Domain A) when a specific application is launched, hence an api call or a net use batch command.

The Net Redirector for Win95/98/Me does not allow you to map a drive with different user credentials from the current logon session.

I tried using WNetAddConnection2 with a username and password, but I get an Access Denied error. I assume this is related to the same reason you can't do this with Net Use.

My next option was to use Net Logon but the option "Prevent MS-Dos based programs from detecting windows" must be selected. This option is unselected by default and I can't find a registry entry to change this.

Any help would be appreciated.
